All QuickBurst Igniters are now sleeved. This is due to USPS shipping regulations. The Twiggy and Super Fat Boy have white sleeves, the Slim Gem and Fat boy have clear sleeves. This sleeve needs to be removed prior to use. Use a utility knife, or other thin sharp blade to cut a slit down the side of the igniter then peel the sleeve off. .

The Super Fat Boy is stand-alone ignitor which is used un-augmented in "M" or larger motors.   No additional pyrogen needed.   The Super Fat Boy must have 12 volts to ignite.  The pyrogen is 1 1/4 inches long by 19/64 inch (.297) OD with 60-inch leads.  It burns very hot at 3,500 degrees F, creating generous smoke and sparks as it burns from top to bottom like a sparkler.  It is moisture and shock resistant, reliable, and durable.  The sky's the limit for this baby!  It will definitely get your project off the ground!
